Experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operators proficient in operating excavators, rollers, and other heavy-duty machines. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as excavation, compaction, and earthmoving. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and construction site procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate excavators, rollers, and other heavy-duty machines to perform tasks such as excavation, trenching, grading, and compaction.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, with specific experience operating excavators, rollers, and heavy-duty machines.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Certification or training in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and construction site procedures.
Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment and perform manual labor as required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required.
